The Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, has boasted before the Knesset foreign and security committee that his army has now killed over 300 Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip over the last three months.
Of the Palestinian deaths in Gaza over the last three months:
137 under the age of 16, 29 were women, 12 were old men above the age of 60, 42 were killed inside their homes. The remaining death toll, some 100, were all young men.
