I have not yet found my dream job at the UN.
Nevertheless, I am keeping very busy over something not less important: Amna Maulida. Amna Maulida is a ten year old little girl from Banda Aceh that has been diagnosed last month with Leukemia. Hearing from Abel's assistant Erwin that I had had some previous experience with this illness, the father, Rizal, asked if we could meet. After hearing their story I decided to help. For the past week and a half I have been trying to organize fundraising in several different countries. Amna is very sick, and is not receiving the treatment she should. She is in a hospital in Malaysia, and has already been mooved twice to cheaper facilities. She will be needing a bone marrow transplant, so we are also working on contacting organizations that could offer her the operation abroad (USA or Europe).
I will keep you informed about her condition, and what we have managed to do. I will also try to post a file I have put together concerning the whole thing.
Until next time....
